Style takes centre stage at Newcastle Racecourse this Ladies Day.
Fashions on the Field returns for Ladies Day on Saturday, 19 September, celebrating standout racewear, individual style and the fashion that makes Spring Racing at Newcastle so special.
Whether your look is classic and elegant, bold and contemporary or uniquely your own, this is your chance to step into the spotlight and showcase your race day style.
Registrations
Online registrations open at 6pm on Sunday, 6 September and close at 12pm (midday) on Friday, 18 September 2026.
Missed online registrations? You can still enter on the day.
On-the-day registrations will be available at the Fashions on the Field registration booth upon entry to Newcastle Racecourse, from gates open until 12pm.
Entrants are encouraged to register online ahead of Ladies Day to make their race day arrival as seamless as possible.
Fashions on the Field will commence at 1:15pm on the Ascot Lawn, so make sure you’re registered and ready to take centre stage.

Meet the Judges
We’re thrilled to welcome renowned fashion stylist Kate Kohler as Head Judge of Fashions on the Field for Ladies Day 2026. With her impeccable eye for style and dedication to celebrating individuality, Kate will set the standard for an inspiring competition showcasing the very best of race day fashion.
Joining Kate on the judging panel are Dean and Mitch from The Boys Studio, specialists in hair and makeup who bring their expertise in beauty, styling and creating standout looks. Rounding out this year’s panel are our 2026 Faces of the Hunter, Selina and Ben, bringing their own sense of style and personality to the judging table.
Together, this year’s judging panel is set to make Fashions on the Field an unmissable part of Ladies Day.
