Race 1- Perform HR Class 1 Handicap 1600m

All Saints Eve is a lightly raced filly with the best form. She finished strong to win a 1400 metre Warrick farm Maiden two runs back then was runner up to the smart Positive Peace.

Marise ran on well when placed first up here and she was a Wyong winner before a spell.

Oaksastar bolted in at Muswellbrook last start.

Selections:

1- All Saints Eve

3 – Marise

4- Oaksastar

Race 2- Souths Merewether 3YO Maiden Handicap 900m

No Doubt A Star was very strong late when runner up to Covert Ops here a fortnight ago. He drops sharply in class here and he normally goes back so the long straight is ideal.

Penang won two trials before a failure at Warwick Farm when second favourite last start. Expect improvement

Bovalino is on debut after bolting in with a recent trail at Wyong.

Selections:

2-  No Doubt A Star

3 – Penang

1- Bolavino

Race 3- Bonvilla Estate Benchmark 64 Handicap 900m

A cracking race with Covert Ops, Special Date and Lanigera quality short courses with blistering speed. Covert Ops was spelled and gelded in the winter and he resumes with a brilliant win on this track two weeks ago. He was Group placed early in his career and he has drawn nicely.

Special Date is very fast and she has come from a spell with two devastating wins at Muswellbrook.

Lanigera loves a short course and he is a winner at Newcastle.

Selections:

3- Covert Ops

6- Special Date

1 – Lanigera

Race 4- Net Modular Maiden Plate 1895m

Total Recall is a promising stayer with placings in his only two starts on country tracks. He has run okay over shorter courses in both starts and this trip and the long straight is a positive.

Individualist is racing well on city tracks and is a big threat.

Rainy Day was placed at Gosford last start.

Selections:

5 – Total Recall

3 – Individualist

9 – Rainy Day

Race 5- Calvary Mater Newcastle Provincial & Country Maiden Handicap 1200m

Oakfield Navajo has had two starts, both on this track. His debut run was a beauty when he flashed home to finish second in a strong 900 metre Maiden. He stepped up to the 1200 metre last start and finished fourth.

Patrina was narrowly beaten on debut at Wyong on Australia Day and she won two trials before that run.

Uprise has been placed four from eight

Selections:

1-  Oakfield Navajo

2 – Patrina

6- Uprise

Race 6- Webber Architects Maiden Handicap 1400m

Night Witches was placed at Warwick Farm two starts back and was then beaten 2.7 lengths on a heavy track at Canterbury last start. Should have nice trail from barrier.

Selections:

7- Night Witches

4 – Could Factory

8 – Bellarine

Race 7- Prosperity Advisers Group Class 2 Handicap 1400m

Enchanted Heat is knocking on the door after two good efforts this prep. She was strong when beaten a length at Gosford on January 10. She again came from back when third in a strong race at Newcastle last start.

Phomonoe has had two starts for a Canterbury debut win on January 17 and a close second at Canterbury. Hard to beat.

Camp Rifle resumes and he is a strong finisher suited by the long straight.

Selections:

10- Enchanted Heart

8- Phomonoe

1-  Camp Rifle

Race 8- Engage VR Conditional Benchmark 70 Handicap 1200m

Luna Mai is a smart mare resuming after a good recent at Scone trial. She had no luck in the Koscuiszko in October and hasn’t raced since. She has a goof turn of foot and should have a nice trail from the rail’s barrier.

Trophies Galore won The Highway on The Hunter Day on this track and she likes to be fresh.

Hildalgo was trapped wide here first up and can improve sharply on that run.

Selections:

8- Luna Mia

9- Trophies Galore

6 – Hildalgo
