Mushroom Rock is racing himself back into form and the 2300 won’t be a problem. He was a close third over 2100 at Wyong last start and his only win was over 2200m at Beaumont in January.

Elcano has changed stables this prep and he was placed in a stronger field at Wyong last start.

Race 3- Fox Stevens Conveyancing Maiden Plate 1400m

Parveen has been placed in all three career starts and the stable is keen to win a race with her before she goes to stud. The filly normally races midfield and she is strong late.

Light Exceed went well enough first up at Warwick Farm to be a chance.

Laino is a former Victorian with mediocre form but he could improve with John O’Shea

Race 4 – Plumblec Maiden Handicap 1200m

California Musical found the trip too short when fifth over 900 metres here on debut three weeks ago. He will only carry 52 ½ with the talented apprentice claim and the 1200 meters is ideal.

Emeralds was only beaten 5 lengths in the Sweet Embrace in her only start in February. She has trialled well recently.

Alert The Press can improve.

He wasn’t far away on a heavy track first up at Randwick recently.

Red Light Dancer is quick, and she has been narrowly beaten in her past two country starts.

Leo is a well-bred colt on debut.
