Race 1- John Thomas Electrical Class 1 & Maiden Plate 2300m

Mushroom Rock is racing himself back into form and the 2300 won’t be a problem. He was a close third over 2100 at Wyong last start and his only win was over 2200m at Beaumont in January.

Elcano has changed stables this prep and he was placed in a stronger field at Wyong last start.

Raziel improved when runner up at Wyong last star.

Race 2- Warners Bay Hotel Maiden Handicap- 1600m

Disco Mo is ready to win after two close seconds on the Kensington track and Newcastle. He was beaten 2 ½ lengths by Southern Romance on the Kensington track on June 10 and the winner has been placed in town since.

Namarari has been placed in his only two starts at Kembla and Goulburn is in a good stable.

High Flight is hard to catch but is capable on her day.

Race 3- Fox Stevens Conveyancing Maiden Plate 1400m

Parveen has been placed in all three career starts and the stable is keen to win a race with her before she goes to stud. The filly normally races midfield and she is strong late.

Light Exceed went well enough first up at Warwick Farm to be a chance.

Laino is a former Victorian with mediocre form but he could improve with John O’Shea

Race 4 – Plumblec Maiden Handicap 1200m

California Musical found the trip too short when fifth over 900 metres here on debut three weeks ago. He will only carry 52 ½ with the talented apprentice claim and the 1200 meters is ideal.

Emeralds was only beaten 5 lengths in the Sweet Embrace in her only start in February. She has trialled well recently.

Race 5- Nelson Bay Bowlo 2YO Maiden Plate – 900m

Lanigera is pretty smart and he should be too classy. He was a close third in a Group 3 at Caulfield in February and he was beaten less than a length in a listed race at Flemington in March.

He wasn’t far away on a heavy track first up at Randwick recently.

Red Light Dancer is quick, and she has been narrowly beaten in her past two country starts.

Leo is a well-bred colt on debut.

Race 6- NPSGFC Class 2 Handicap 1400m

Charlie’s Law had every chance when a close third at Muswellbrook second up recently. However, he will be fitter this time and will go forward. Hard to beat.

Pride Of Darci has a good firt up record and the three kilogram claim is a positive.

Smiling Manolito has the blinkers on and he went okay last start.

Race 7-Le Mottee Group Port Stephens Cup- Conditional benchmark 70 Handicap – 1600m

Cinquedea bolted in at Goulburn last start and he has drawn well. This is his first attempt at the 1600 but the easy 1400 win last start indicates he will run the trip.

Hirokin has a fine record on this track and his recent form is okay.

Race 8- Tim Goldsmith Bat Benchmark 64 Handicap- 1200m

Kris Lees has four runners here and all have a chance.

Lifetime Quest is first up after a good first up prep and he is trialling well.

Alberts No Pussy was narrowly beaten first up at Scone and he is a major player here.

Celer needs a good tempo and if he gets that he will sprint home.
