Horsepower Newmarket Race Day & International Women’s Day
Race 1 – Sharp Office Class 1 & Maiden Plate 2300m
An open race but Circling was very impressive in winning a Goulburn Class 1 over 2100m last start. He won easily with something in hand and the 2300m won’t be a problem. The colt has good soft track form.
Kingdom Of Gold is knocking on the door and Sound Of Cannons has a chance.

Race 2 – Bella Group Services Beaumont 2YO 1400m
Victorine has her foot on the till after placings in both starts this preparation. She was beaten by 2 lengths on the Kensington track first up and she flashed home when narrowly beaten at Wyong last start.
Bessmati beat Victorine at Wyong however she had the breaks but should run well.
Okataina is a leader with a chance.

Race 3 –Kam Cool Refrigeration 3YO & Up Maiden Handicap 1400m
Gwan So has been placed in five of six starts. The import has had one Australian start when runner up at Goulburn. The spacious track is ideal and he has drawn well and has a 3 kilogram claim.
Naval Seal is on debut and Bowman rides while Legal Choice had no luck last start.

Race 4 –Novocastrian Electrical Maiden Plate 1200m
Loch Eagle is first up and the colt is talented. He was runner up in his first two starts at Hawkesbury and Randwick. He has been impressive in recent starts.
Headliner has trialled okay and Barrichello went well first up.

Race 5 – Kloster Motor Group Posthaste Benchmark 78 Handicap 900m
Remlaps Gem is a very fast short course sprinter unbeaten in four starts over the 900-metre trip. He bolted in on a heavy track at the Gold Coast last start and he was placed behind The Bopper at Randwick first up.
Delexo was unlucky first up and the unbeaten Fleet Air Arm is up in class but is smart.

Race 6-New Zealand Bloodstock Maiden Plate 1600m
Big Short put the writing on the wall with an eye catching performance at Gosford second up recently. It was a 1600 maiden and he came from 10-12 lengths off the lead at the 1000m to go down by a length. The long straight is in his favour and Bowman rides from the rails barrier.
Money From The Sky was placed on the Kensington track first up and Taizai has been placed in all three starts this preparation.

Race 7 – Horsepower Newcastle Newmarket (Group 3) 1400m
Wanabaa is at double figures and has a great chance. She was runner up behind Lost And Running in The Hunter and she did not have a lot of luck first up. She is a wet track specialist ands likes this track.
Aramayo goes well first up and was placed in the Tramway, Bill Ritchie and The Epsom.
Special Reward won this race in 2020 and is in great form.

Race 8 – Charlestown Square F&M Benchmark 64 Handicap 1200m
A very open race. California Surreal was an easy Canterbury winner first up and she was a bit stiff when close up on the same track last start. Blinkers go on for the first time.
Holy Tycoon’s got good country form and Shanjomi will be fitter.
