Race 1- Sharp Electronics Group Open Handicap 900m

The lightly raced mare Hardspot has won four from eight and she has a good fresh record. In her only start on this track she blitzed a smart field in April. The mare is very smart and she will wear blinkers for the time.

Shadow Bridge led all the way here last start and Imacrumpet is another speedster with good form on this track.

Race 2- Australian Bloodstock Hunter Stayers Cup Benchmark 68 Handicap 2900m

True Marvel bolted in on a heavy track over 2600 at Gosford three starts back, he followed up with a close fourth on a heavy track at Randwick a months ago. He loves a wet track and he has won two of his last four.

Terwilliker won a Benchmark 78 at Randwick three starts back and he is a winner over 2600.

By Design has won his past two on a heavy track.

Race 3- Guardian Safety Solutions Maiden Handicap 900m

Single Tonite is on debut after a very good trial behind the smart Torun. She is a fast filly bred to swim if the rain arrives. She has drawn well and Jay Ford makes a rare Saturday appearance in Newcastle.

Sing And Dance has good trial form and he has drawn well and Bel Suono won a recent trial.

Race 4 – Robert Etheridge Memorial Maiden Plate 1400m

Individualist had no luck behind Saigon first up at Newcastle recently. He missed the start by two lengths and he was never in the clear when beaten three lengths.

Pitchfork has been placed in four of five starts and from barrier one should box seat.

Awakino had his chance when runner up on debut at Canberra recently.

Race 5 – Yarraman Park Maiden Handicap 1200m

Rule Of Law was on debut on July 22 when a creditable third behind the smart Yardstick on a heavy track at Canterbury. He sat outside the leader and held on well. His trial form prior to his first start was good.

Comments has his first start after a nice trial and Reignite trialled okay.

Race 6- New Zealand Bloodstock Maiden Handicap 1200m

Wandonna bolted in with a recent Warwick Farm trial and she resumes here. She had consistent form last prep including a placing on the Kensington track.

Minifinn is knocking on the door with two Gosford placings recently.

La Tigresa was placed three from six last prep and trialled nicely recently.

Race 7- Red Funnel Benchmark 64 Handicap 1300m

Wild Fortune was strong late over 1200 metres at Gosford last start. She will appreciate the longer trip and spacious track. She has drawn nicely and won’t be far off the pace.

Stablemate Jaja Chaboogie has won two on the trot on heavy tracks and is a front runner.

Duenna has placed in three of her last four starts.

Race 8- Reward Hospitality Benchmark 64 Handicap 1300m

Zell was run down and beaten a length at Kembla first up on July 18. His only win was second up and he will go forward again from his favourable barrier.

Emthree bolted in at Wyong last start and he will appreciate the long straight.

Gumshoe is fitter now and capable of a bold showing.
