Yellowstone was backed from double figures into $3.10 on debut at Gosford on March 27. After racing in second place, he tired to be beaten four lengths. He had been trialling well and this is not a strong race. Antonella can improve and La Sagra is an each-way chance.

Race 2 New Zealand Bloodstock Maiden Plate 1200m

Jimmy’s Dream has outstanding form for this race and he has been gelded since his last start. He has been placed in all of his three starts last year on metropolitan tracks. He looked good in an easy barrier trial win recently. Maramoti trialled well recently and he has genuine speed, while Imperial Grey has raced well on this track.

Race 3 Hungerford Hill Maiden Handicap 1400m

Grace And Harmony turned in an eye catcher on this track last start on Boxing Day. She came from a mile back when beaten 2½ lengths by Deel Street. She ran on nicely in a recent Rosehill trial and she has barrier one. Think High was a Randwick placegetter in November and he has drawn well, while Too Much Lippy was narrowly beaten in her only start.

Race 4 Yarraman Park Maiden Plate 1200m

Gravity Zero was pretty when a close second on debut at Gosford recently. She was three-wide no cover on the speed and she hung on the home turn. This filly will love the big track and the long straight and she has drawn well. Stablemate Pretty Elsa wasn’t far away on debut and has speed and Sweet Ruby has a chance.

Race 5 Hunter Valley Premium Meats Benchmark 64 Handicap

Jeronimos came from last for a closing third in a strong race at Gosford two weeks back. He again flashed home when a close second at Hawkesbury first up. The step up in distance will be suitable. Dream Maiden ran home well at Muswellbrook recently and Casino Mondial could prove hard to run down.

Race 6 Sage Painting Conditional Benchmark 68 Handicap 1200m

Tempel One resumes after a nice Scone trial win. He won twice at Scone in the Spring and he will relish the long straight. The colt has been unlucky in a couple of Highways last prep. Cool World races well on his home track and he went well last start. Hit The Target is the class horse and has trialled well.

Race 7 Minder Cloud Services Class 1 Handicap 1200m

Ceasefire is a smart three-year-old with speed to burn. He won a Muswellbrook trial by 4 lengths on March 3 and nineteen days later he was heavily backed when he won by six lengths on debut at Tamworth. He has the speed to cover the wide barrier. Namazu resumes and has a good first up form and Zorocat was narrowly beaten first up here recently.

Race 8 Bella Group Services Benchmark 64 Handicap 1400m

Loolwah is an imported mare which failed in two starts in Victoria before joining the Kris Lees stable. She is unbeaten in two trials for Lees and she was impressive in an easy Newcastle trial win from the Speedy Miss Canada on March 25. Good Stock has not raced for 12 months but had sound metropolitan form early last year. Vigorous Flow had a good country form before a spell.
