Race 1 – COASTLINE POOLS CG&E MAIDEN PLATE (1150 METRES)

Hettinger is a former Victorian with the Lees stable.

In his last start at Echuca he was second all the way and was beaten a lead.

He has trialled speedy twice on the Beaumont track and draws well.

Perfect Point was runner up on debut while Trumpster is close to a win.

Race 2 – HUNGERFORD HILL WINES F&M MAIDEN PLATE (1150 METRES)

Paradise Island has had four starts for two seconds.

Both her placings have been on the Newcastle course proper in Provincial class. She has started favourite in her past two country starts but se has drawn well here.

Deelosh is a stablemate on debut and she won a recent Wyong Trial.

Squiggles has been trialling well.

Race 3 – TAB MAIDEN HANDICAP (1350 METRES)

Wealthofknowledge turned in an outstanding performance on debut with an eye catching second on the Newcastle course proper on November 28th. She was near last in the straight when she stormed home to be beaten 1 ½ lengths. She has drawn soft and should race closer.

Dronoco was runner up on this track on October 25th and was again winner up at Port Macquarie on November 11th.

Starstruck Barbie has a place chance.

Race 4 –OAS TECHNOLOGY MAIDEN HANDICAP MAIDEN HANDICAP (1350 METRES)

Miss Calculation was beaten four lengths in her only start at Randwick in December last year. She has had two recent trials and has drawn nicely.

Air Of Alsace hasn’t raced since July but has won a recent Warwick Farm trial.

Star Impact could fill a place.

Race 5 –BOXING DAY RACES CLASS 2 & ABOVE BENCHMARK 58 HANDICAP (1150 METRES)

Endless River has been racing well in better company and the apprentice claims 4 kilograms. He was unlucky when placed at Scone two starts back and he wasn’t far away at Newcastle last start.

Jet Pack was impressive running at Port Macquarie first up.

Spanish Missile has a chance.

Race 6 –THE CHOISIR HANDICAP BENCHMARK 74 HANDICAP (1350 METRES)

Akasawa hasn’t raced since March but he is very talented. The four year old has won three from four with one second. He won a recent Scone Trial and he has a good barrier. He normally races midfield or worse.

Land Of Valens was narrowly beaten at Goulburn first up and he is ready.

Aerobatic Warrior has a good record.

Race 7 –HUNTER VALLEY PREMIUM MEATS CLASS 1 HANDICAP (1150 METRES)

Spellcatcher was very impressive in an easy first up Newcastle Maiden win on November 23rd. He has genuine speed to cross from a wide barrier and a soft track would not be a concern.

Shalstar looked good winning a Gosford Maiden recently.

Rocstar Boy was impressive at Quirindi

Race 8 –JENNINGS PRINT BENCHMARK 58 HANDICAP (1350 METRES)

Dawnburst is enjoying a good preparation with a win and two placings. She has a nice soft draw and the Western Australian apprentice Madi Derrick has the mount. She won’t be far off the pace.

Dawntillarvi was run down late last start on the course proper.

Princess Zeddy is fitter this time.
