Last Straw disappointed first up so the blinkers go on this time. She was an easy Warwick Farm winner in her only other start in March.

Stablemate The Seven Seas’ all three wins were on dry tracks, and she will get a track to suit.

Pushy is unbeaten in two starts and draws well.

Race 2- Kloster Motor Group F&M Maiden Handicap 1400m

Ahuriri from the Waller camp flashed home to go down by half a length on debut at Sandown in July. She resumes after a nice Warwick Farm trial two weeks ago.

Alvina’s Luck had no luck when fourth here two weeks ago and Autumnmation was runner up on this track last start.

Race 3 – Rarity Wholesale CG&E Maiden Handicap 1400m

Side Show was held up at the 400m when a fast finishing second on this track last start. That was his only start and he will appreciate the longer trip.

Nondisclosure is on debut after two Warwick Farm trial wins, and he is in a great stable.

Superstitious wasn’t far away in his only start at Wyong.

Race 4- Hunter Valley Premium Meats Class 1 & Maiden Plate 1850m

The Godolphin three-year-old Diabelli has had two starts at Newcastle for a win and a second. He has the perfect barrier and Zac Lloyd has the mount.

Yet He Moves won well at Gosford last start and Glad You Think So is a last start winner at Newcastle.

Race 5 – Australian Bloodstock Cameron Handicap (Group 3) 1500m

Lees import Inver Park is good value after an eye-catching performance second up. He will appreciate the long straight and only has 54kg with Dylan Gibbons to ride.

Skyman was a brave second in the Tramway, but he hasn’t drawn well.

Luncies is a stayer who can sprint well first up.

Race 6 – Yarraman Park Stud Tibbie Stakes (Group 3) 1400m

Wollombi is the class runner and is well placed under the set weights conditions. She was unlucky when placed in the Wyong Mona Lisa Stakes last start.

Razeta is a backmarker but can storm home, and is on her home track.

Mirra View won the Mona Lisa Stakes last start.

Race 7 – Sharp Office Newcastle Gold Cup (Group 3) 2300m

Newcastle stayers dominate the Cup, and the three at the top of the market all have good credentials.

Kalapour is a Group 3 winner in Queensland and Damian Oliver has the mount.

Hosier is in good form and will run well, while import Cleveland’s last run was an eye-catcher.

Race 8 – New Era Technology Hurricane Handicap 900m

Alicia Roma is a very fast mare yet to be out of a place in her career, but it is a hot race.

Temple Run just missed on the Kensington track last start and he is ready to win.

Doull is talented and capable of winning.
