Race 1- The Hunter Race Day November 16- Maiden Handicap 900m

Elegant Grace led all the way for an easy trial win at Cessnock two weeks ago. She is on debut and has a nice barrier and has genuine speed.

Fituese is on debut after a seven-length trial win at Kembla recently. She led and looked good.

Xiaoli’s Ying is quick, and she was run down first up at Newcastle over this course.

Race 2- Sharp Electronics Group Benchmark 64 Handicap 900m

Peak loves the Newcastle 900 metre course. He came from last when beaten half a length here first up on August 15. He bolted in second up here on September 3. Then went to Gosford last start and looked the winner in the straight but finished third.

Lord Zoulander has the speed to lead and he led when placed at Gosford last week.

Wandabaa is unbeaten in two country starts and she resumes on the back of a quiet trial

Race 3- Top Cut Foods Maiden Plate 1500m

Lucky Imperator failed in the Group 3 last start, but his previous two runs were good. Two starts back he was beaten a head at Warwick Farm, and he was placed at Wyong first up. Tim Clark rides from a soft draw.

Estroverto is due for a change of luck after three seconds in succession.

Manseneta raced keen in his only start and is sure to improve here.

Race 4- Coastline Pools & Spas F&M Maiden Handicap 1600m

Bacinblac wasn’t beaten far first up at Goulburn and she goes to a more suitable trip here. Last prep she was placed at Gosford and Newcastle she will appreciate the long straight.

Perfect Impression was run down late at Kembla last start and has a chance.

Apicius will be on pace and has a place chance.

Race 5- Sage Painting CG&E Class 1 Handicap 1300m

Wounded Soldier can upset the favourite Melik. A Kiwi, Wounded Soldier has had three starts for Kris Lees and is ready to win. he was narrowly beaten at Wyong last start and he was unlucky first up at Taree. The 1300 on the spacious track is ideal.

Melik a $2.5 Million yearling was impressive at Scone and this is a much stronger race.

Magic Charlee is very consistent and will run well

Race 6- Avid Project Management F&M Class 1 Handicap 1300m

California Salto resumes here after a good first prep. She bolted in at Warwick Farm in June before she went to the paddock. The filly came from way back when runner up at Warwick Farm in her second race start in May. She has a drawn the rails barrier and has Josh Parr

Terroir is a winner on the track and her two placings she beat two smart ones.

Pinup Miss had good form last prep and she trialled well

Race 7- Hungerford Hill Wines- Class 1 & Maiden Plate 1880m

Tisane was very unlucky when runner up at Gosford last start. She has been runner up in four of her last five starts and the big track is a positive.

Foxborough drops in class and this is a suitable trip. She was only beaten a head in the Listed Fernhill Handicap at Randwick in April.

Proven Class is a winner here and she went okay first up
