Race 1- New Zealand Bloodstock Benchmark 68 Handicap 1600m

Godolphin mare Silhouette hasn’t been far away in mid-week metropolitan meetings and has drawn perfectly. She was running on strongly from last when finishing second over 1250m on the Kensington track on August 18.

The Neon Knight is a place chance.

Selections:    4- Capital Reign     7- Mr Polar    5- The Neon Knight

Race 5- Rarity Wholesale Class 1 & Maiden Plate 1850m

Amore overcame difficulties to win her first race at Wyong recently. She is a promising stayer and after being badly held up in the straight at Wyong she hit the line strong. The longer trip looks ideal and the long straight gives her time to unwind.

Dhakuri is a Rosehill winner over this trip last year and the prospect of a good 4 rated track will enhance his chances.

New World Tapestry is an import with a place chance.

Selections:    9- Amore      3- Dhakuri     6- New World Tapestry

Race 6- Yarraman Park Tibbie Stakes 1400m

Great News is a quality mare which was unlucky in the recent Listed Mona Lisa at Wyong two weeks ago. The mare was never on the track at Wyong and despite the tough run she dashed to the lead in the straight only to be run down late. She has had 12 starts for 5 wins and 7 placings.

More Prophets beat Great News at Wyong and she will love the long straight.

Mirra Vision has won 6 of 16 and bolted in at Randwick last start.

Selections:    4- Great News        2- More Prophets   5- Mirra Vision

Race 7- Sharp Office Newcastle Gold Cup 2300m

Imported stayer Berdibek is in rare form as he attempts a third black type victory in succession. The big grey came from last to win the Listed Rowley Mile at Hawkesbury on August 19. Last start he again came from near the tail of the field to win the Wyong Cup. He has been set for the major staying races in the spring and Newcastle will be well suited.

Laure Me In is a big track specialist and won the Scone Cup in May and was narrowly beaten in the Grafton Cup.

Local stayer Luncies has won 5 of 10 and is ready to fire.

Selections:    3- Berdibek 5- Laure Me In         11- Luncies

Race 8- Australian Bloodstock Cameron Handicap 1500m

Rock has won the past two ‘Cameron’s’ and could make it three. He has had two runs this prep and finished fourth behind Zaaki in the Tramway last start.

He will settle back in the field but he has a good turn of foot.

Frosty Rocks is in good form and he is a pace setter and hard to run down.

Sky Lab is a stayer but could sprint well while fresh on his home track.

Selections:    3- Rock          5- Frosty Rocks        8- Sky Lab
