Gary Harley – Preview – 22.03.22

Race 1 – OAS Technology Benchmark 58 Handicap 1150m

Magic Talent can win this race if she repeats her Randwick run on February 26. On the heavy track she came from well back when fourth, 1 ½ lengths behind the smart Mayrose.

Bahahaa had no luck first up at Tamworth but she had solid South Coast form last preparation.

Eve ‘N’ Ruby has a place chance

Race 2 – Hellbent @ Yarraman Park Class 1 Handicap 1150m

Chimes is a very fast filly resuming. She was an easy winner at Newcastle on debut twelve months ago. The stable sent her to Victoria where her form was solid and after a long spell the filly is trialling well.

Princess Of Meydan was placed at Goulburn last start and she draws well.

Audette was impressive winning at Muswellbrook in her only start.

Race 3 – Avid PM CG&E Benchmark 58 Handicap 1150m

Timperley is knocking on the door and he raced well in his first start on this track. After placings at Bathurst, Nowra and the Beaumont track he had a six week break before closing off nicely at Muswellbrook on March 11.

Lady Shenanigans is a winner on the track and she was a distant second at Goulburn last start.

Warphil ran on well at Muswellbrook last start.

Race 4 – Allied Moving Services Country Maiden Plate 1350m

Moorabinda Mick was unlucky first up at Quirindi when a close third. The colt had solid form last spring when he was narrowly beaten at Scone in September.

Metal Bar has been racing well and William Pike will ride.

Parties Galore hasn’t been far off in recent Mid-North Coast runs.

Race 5- Australian Bloodstock Benchmark 66 Handicap 1350m

Five Crowns has had three starts for two wins and a second and he resumes here after a spell. He was an easy winner on this track in October and he was impressive in winning a recent Wyong trial.

Poseidon Ruler bolted in at Muswellbrook last start and he has a 3kg claim.

Mcnair returned to form with a good Port Macquarie win last start.

Race 6 – Hunter Valley Premium Meats Class 1 & Maiden Plate 2100m

Bill Peyto steps up to a suitable trip and he is well placed. He was a winner over 1600m in England where he had five starts for a win and two seconds.

Velvet Lady is crying out for this trip and should run well.

Members Only was unlucky when placed at Newcastle last start.

Race 7- The Prince Of Merewether Maiden Handicap 1150m

Oxford Vision’s debut run at Gosford on March 12 was an eye catcher. He was a long way back and he flashed home to be beaten less than half a length. He will appreciate the longer straight.

Bahama can improve on her first up run while Din trialled okay.

Race 8 – Horsepower Class 1 Handicap 1350m

Aarkus has good country form with a win and two placings from three starts. He got a long way back at Tamworth first up and he made up good ground.

Blue Jager has good form and Miss Santorini has a chance.
