Race 1 – A PLUS CONTRACTING & POLY WELDING PTY LTD CONDITIONAL OPEN HANDICAP (1600m)

La Jolie Fille has never been placed in five starts on her home track, but she is knocking on the door. The mare was only beaten 2.2 lengths in a stronger race on this track a week ago.

Mydeel finished behind La Jolie Fille last week, but he will be fitter.

White Boots likes a wet track.

Race 2 – STEEL CITY BEER COMPANY F&M MAIDEN HANDICAP (1400m)

Pierossa won a recent trial and is ready to win first up. She was beaten a nose on debut at Canterbury in May and she has drawn nicely with Mitchell Bell to ride.

Lonrioli has very good form and is a big threat.

Little Lanai was narrowly beaten at Canterbury in April.

Race 3 – DENTON ENGINEERING GROUP CG&E MAIDEN HANDICAP (1400m)

Atlantic Ocean has raced in far better fields in the Autumn and performed well. All three starts have been on wet tracks. Last start at Caulfield in May he was beaten 2 ½ lengths in a $130,000 Metropolitan 2yo event.

Just An Upstart has very good trial form and is on debut.

Grange Rock Star was placed on this track last start in July.

Race 4 – GATESHEAD TRAFFIC SOLUTIONS CLASS 1 & MAIDEN PLATE (1850m)

Tycoon Hallie has won only one from fifteen, but she does race well at Newcastle where she has placed in three of five. The mare is ready to win after a close second at Hawkesbury last start.

Nyika was a close third second up at Canterbury last start and loves a heavy track.

Sky Ace was run down late at Hawkesbury last start.

Race 5 – RELIABLE CONVEYOR BELT MIDWAY MAIDEN PLATE (1200m)

Sir Kerm is on debut after two impressive trials. Trained by Jason Deamer, the 4yo was narrowly beaten in a Gosford trial on August 29 before racing away with a Newcastle trial on September 12.

Beetson was an easy Newcastle trial winner two weeks back, while Treize has been trialling well also.

Race 6 – TOOHEYS NEWCASTLE RUGBY LEAGUE MAIDEN PLATE (1600m)

Casual Connection has only had two starts – for two placings at Kembla. Both starts he has run through the line strongly, and he wants the 1600m. Both starts have been on soft tracks.

Fearless Knight has sound Queensland form and raced okay first up at Kembla, while Inconsequential can improve.

Race 7 – HUNT HOSPITALITY CLASS 1 HANDICAP (1400m)

Coodarady is a leader who won on this track on debut in August last year. He won a recent Warwick Farm trial on a wet track.

Token Capitalist won easily on debut at Hawkesbury and should run well again.

Thinking Rain had no luck last start when fourth at Kembla.

Race 8 – THE GREENROOF PROVINCIAL BENCHMARK 64 HANDICAP (1200m)

Viennoiserie is talented and is fitter. She has had three starts for a brilliant win on debut at Gosford in November, before finishing down the track at Warwick Farm and being spelled. Her first up run was okay, and she trialled nicely in a Group trial two weeks ago.

Showtime Lady is smart and has trialled well, while Deep Snow has good country form.
