Race 1 John Whitmore Memorial Class 1 & Maiden Plate 2340m

Former Victorian So Sleek put the writing on the wall when a strong finishing second over 1890m here last start. His only win was on a heavy track and he is bred to run the longer trip.

Montgomery bolted in on a heavy track at Wyong two starts back and Zerkhan had been racing well before a last start failure.

Race 2 -Quarry Mining 3yo & Up Maiden Handicap 900m

Clear Thinking is bred to be a star and is unbeaten in two easy trial wins. She is pretty quick, has barrier one and Aaron Bullock has the mount.

Yukan Rose resumes after a nice trial and she stormed home to finish second at Wyong on a Soft 7 last start.

Cool Space is on debut after an easy Newcastle trial win.

Race 3 – Aaron Walter Century 21 Midway 2yo Maiden Plate 900m

Insist was placed on a Heavy 9 at Warwick Farm in his only start on May 8. He won a Randwick trial in April and has a positive barrier.

Flying Argyle has won three of four trials, and the stable is in form while Synergize is unbeaten in two trials.

Race 4 – Newcastle Skin Check Provincial Benchmark 68 Handicap 1890m

Magicon is flying with two impressive wins on his home track at Wyong. He had a quiet trial early this week and he is bred to run the longer trip.

Six Foot Song’s last run at Newcastle was an eye catcher and Worthily can improve.

Race 5 – Varley Group Super 3yo & Up Maiden Plate 1400m

Determination wasn’t far away when fourth at Warwick Farm last start and his first up run on this track was okay. He has blinkers on for the first time.

Fox City had no luck on debut at Newcastle on May 9 while Pocket Eights is racing well.

Race 6 – Fulton Hogan “HMF CUP” CG&E Benchmark 64 Handicap 1250m

French Marine hasn’t won a race for some time but this is a winnable race. He was a solid fourth on this track last start and he will appreciate the soft track.

Osman is in good form and has a 3 Kilogram claim.

Crop Duster can improve on this track.

Race 7 – Newcastle Financial Planning Group F&M Benchmark 64 Handicap 1250m

There There has been unplaced in both starts this preparation but hasn’t been far away. She is a winner on this track, and it is a winnable race for her.

Godelba won impressively here last start and Linguee’s last run was an eye catcher.

Race 8 – Robyn Platt Memorial Benchmark 64 Handicap 900m

Curl Curl always run well on this track where he was an easy first up winner recently. There is speed to burn here and he can unleash off a fast pace.

Villa Treville is very quick and has won four of six and Grand Larceny will be fitter.
