RACE 1: HORSEPOWER 3YO MAIDEN PLATE 900m

Asteria is unraced but has displayed exemplary speed in trials. She led clearly when she won a Randwick trial on March 18 over 1050m, and she won a Randwick trial by 3 ½ lengths in December.

Where’s The Fire is also on debut and is quick while Procrastinator was narrowly beaten on this track last start.

RACE 2: STRATHAYR MAIDEN HANDICAP 1500m

The Big Biig came from last when placed at Nowra on August 21. That was his only start and this track looks suitable, and he draws well.

Zedly didn’t have a lot of room in the straight last start while Villeneuve can run well.

RACE 3: LEES RACING CLASS 1 HANDICAP 1400m

Backrower is in great form, and he is a standout in this race.  He won well on debut on this track in May, and in his subsequent two starts he has been placed at Rosehill. Last start he flew home when beaten a nose. He has a nice barrier and Tommy Berry rides.

Wollombi stormed home to win at Canterbury last start and she will appreciate the bigger track.

Mayhem was an easy Goulburn winner first up.

RACE 4: SHARP OFFICE CLASS 1 & MAIDEN PLATE 1880m

Just Like Lisa is a model of consistency but doesn’t win too often. She came from a mile back when a distant second on this track last start on August 11. She has been placed in five of seven starts on this track.

Inuwashi was headed in the straight but fought back to win at Hawkesbury last start while Ocean Shores can improve.

RACE 5: COASTLINE POOLS AND SPAS F&M MAIDEN PLATE 1300m

Ruinart has always shown promise, and this is a winnable race. She has been placed in four of five starts and two of those placings have been on this track. She had a lovely quiet trial recently.

Tot Of Rum flew home when a close third at Kembla recently.

Ithadtobezou’s last run was very good.

RACE 6: AVID PM CG&E MAIDEN PLATE 1300m

Magic had outstanding two-year-old form and he will be fitter for a solid first up performance at Hawkesbury. He was runner up in the Silver Slipper and placed in the Pago Pago. The longer trip here is ideal.

Stroke Of Luck is on debut and has trialled okay while Union Army was narrowly beaten on debut on this track.

RACE 7: SAGE PAINTING BENCHMARK 64 HANDICAP 1200m

Narito is highly promising, and he will relish the long Newcastle straight. He was super impressive on debut at Wyong and McDonald only has the one mount.

Strombus has been placed in his only two metropolitan starts this preparation, and he has barrier one.

Viennoiserie resumes and is smart.
