Gary Harley – Preview Legends Raceday

Race 1 – Gary Harley Benchmark 64 Handicap 2330m

Tann Hills caught the eye with a fast finishing third at Hawkesbury last start. He hit the line hard when beaten two lengths at Gosford two starts back. Andrew Gibbons rides and he may race closer.

Duchess of Windsor is looking for this trip while Donnachiara won well at Hawkesbury two starts back.

Race 2 – New Zealand Bloodstock Class 1 Handicap 1870m

Seduction Queen is knocking on the door after a fast finishing second at Kembla last start. She was only beaten two lengths at Hawkesbury three starts back and was beaten .2 of a length at Goulburn first up.

Oakfield Cherokee came from a mile back when an easy winner at Grafton two weeks back.

Onemoreforluck is racing well at Gosford.

Race 3 – Brenda Buckingham Memorial Maiden Handicap 1300m

Party Lady found the trip too short when a close fourth at Gosford last start. The extra 200 metres is in her favour and she will appreciate the long straight. She has a nice barrier and should race closer.

Mantinello is on debut after two nice trials at Gosford and Warwick Farm and he has the rails barrier.

Eyes Of Dubai was runner up at Goulburn on debut in August and she has trialled recently.

Race 4 – Australian Bloodstock 2YO Maiden Plate 900m

 

Collier Bay wasn’t far away in the Max Lees Classic recently and she is the only runner in the field that has raced. She had trialled nicely prior to that run.

Vianello won a Hawkesbury trial by a big space recently and Ruby Kisses also won a trial at Rosehill and has the rails barrier.

Race 5 – Kris Lees Provincial & Country Maiden Plate 1300m

Stablemates Mentalism and Skip To My should both run well. Mentalism bolted in with a Gosford trial before his debut at Hawksbury on November 19. He was slowly away and never saw daylight. He can lead and prove hard to run down.

Skip To My led on debut at Gosford but she is much better chasing and is talented.

Duais hasn’t been far away in her only two starts.

Race 6 – John McDermott Memorial 3YO & Up Maiden Handicap 900m

The Wayfarer has speed to burn and he will give them something to chase from the rails barrier. He won two trials before a close third on debut at Scone recently. Robert Thompson rides the colt.

Boomko has been trialling well and she was placed at Gosford before a spell.

Bilbao was a close third at Gosford a week ago.

Race 7 – Paul Perry Conditional Benchmark 68 Handicap 1400m

Chief Geronimo has a win and two seconds from four starts. He is a front runner and he won two Randwick trials before a disappointing first up run at Kembla. He won second up last prep and he will give them something to chase.

Aristograts has good country form while Manhattan Whirl is racing well.

Race 8 – Robert Thompson Cup Benchmark 64 Handicap 1200m

Dame Kiri has a good record on this track and she races well first up. She has a nice barrier and Andrew Gibbons rides for the first time.

Paquirri has good city form, Louise Day claims 1 ½ kilograms and he has a soft draw.

All From Scrap is always a chance in this class.
