Race 1- Century 21 Novocastrian Canter Class 1 & Maiden Plate 1850m

Carif is a class above this field and he steps up to a suitable trip. After two close Metropolitan seconds he was a creditable fifth in the Queensland Derby.

Wild Sheila will run well after four placings this prep and Never Listen has a place chance.

Race 2- Easy Payroll Global Maiden Plate 900m

Boom filly Regimental Band should be too classy for this lot. She was beaten two lengths by Sydney’s best filly Libertini in a Listed race at Scone in May. Honey Elysees and From The Hip have place chances.

Race 3- Reward Hospitality Maiden 1400m

Hooray Henry’s debut run at Muswellbrook recently was an eye catcher. He came from thirteenth on the turn when beaten two lengths and he will be fitter.

Brandenburg has been placed in all three starts and he is a big threat while Seporto could fill a place.

Race 4- Amalgamated Cash Maiden 1400m

Sunsuzie is racing well enough to be hard to beat here. She wasn’t far away in a strong race on this track two weeks back.

Alam Mo Na is a promising stayer resuming and she has been placed in three of her four starts.

Brunetta is close to a win.

Race 5 – Prime 7 Hurricane Handicap 900m

Charge won the Group 3 Red Anchor at Moonee Valley eleven months ago and he was less than a length from the winner in the Group 3 Eskimo Prince at Warwick Farm in February. He won a recent Randwick trial.

Akasaki has a good fresh record and he will be strong home and Trumbull has a good record.

Race 6- Red Funnel Class 2 Handicap 900m

Lanigera bolted in on this track in June and was only beaten two lengths first up at Warwick Farm recently. He is very quick and the short course is ideal.

Fearnley is also very fast and has drawn well and Miss Powerbelle won’t be far away.

Race 7- Sydney Junction Hotel- Ascot VIP Benchmark 64 1600m

Tricky Gal has won two from three and should be unbeaten. She came from last to win at big odds on this track in July and she was very unlucky at Wyong last start.

Aoraki won by four lengths last start on this track and is a huge threat. Canasta was impressive winning at Wyong last start.

Defeat is flying with two wins and a close third from his last three starts.

McCormack was disappointing first up but he is better than that run.
