Race 1 MINCO Tech Australia Class 1 & Maiden Plate 2360 Metres

Breakdance is knocking on the door with seconds in his past two starts at Kembla. He raced in the first two both times and four starts back he was only beaten by 1.7 lengths by The Party Girl on the Kensington track. Breakdance’s stablemate Nautibernie has been disappointing however, her last win was her best this prep.

Arlington Magic is racing well and has a chance.

Race 2 Civil Sydney Maiden Plate 1895 Metres

Former Japanese mare Stellar Magic has her first Australian start for the Waterhouse – Bott stable. She won a recent Randwick trial and she was placed over 2000 metres in Tokyo.

Wild Sheila has been runner up in both starts this prep and she will appreciate the longer trip.

El Guerrouj has a place chance

Race 3 MGA Insurance F&M Class 2 Handicap 1400 Metres

Sharapova is in great form with two wins from three starts this prep. She led all the way when an easy winner on this track two weeks ago. Three starts back she won a Warwick Farm Maiden on a heavy track. Apprentice Cejay Graham rode the mare last start and she will claim three-kilograms on Saturday.

Heart Of The Oak bolted in on this track two weeks ago and is a threat again.

Brigid Of Kildare has a place chance.

Race 4 CUMI Australia CG&E Class 2 Handicap 1400 Metres

Invincible Dash ran on strong when runner up on this track two weeks ago. He has had three starts for a win and two placings, and in each start he has hit the line hard.

You’re Next has creditable metropolitan form and is well placed here.

Great Danger is fitter after two runs and he has chance.

Race 5 Leah Jay Maiden Handicap 1400m

Amitto has only had two starts and her first up placing at Kembla earlier this month is good enough to win this race. Sebonna was slow out and three wide no cover when a solid second on debut at Scone earlier this month. He had been trailling well before that run.

Lady Grande has been placed in three of her four starts and she could sprint well fresh.

Race 6 ELK Designs Maiden Plate 900 Metres

Calipari is trained by Mark Minervini who recently relocated to Newcastle. The horse had three runs for the Snowden’s in 2018 before being sold.

He showed blistering speed to win a recent Beaumont trial by more than 7 lengths and he was placed on this track in May last year.

For Love led when runner up at Hawkesbury recently and Sangria will be improved by her first up run.

Race 7 Hunter Coating Newcastle Nobbys Benchmark 70 Handicap 1200 Metres

Margie Bee was run down on the post at Gosford last start and she led all the way to win on this track in June she will be difficult to catch with the rail out.

Bondi Boy has a win and four placings from five starts last prep and he trialled well.

Oakfield Captain will be running on.

Race 8 Coastline Pools & Spas Maiden Handicap 1200 Metres

Mayaaesh resumes here and she is very classy. The filly has raced twice for a third in the Group 3 Gimcrack Stakes and she was close up in the group 3 Widden. She trialled nicely with Bowman in the saddle at Rosehill recently.

Version Two is pretty quick and is looking for 1200 after a good second on debut at Gosford.

Somervell was placed in a strong race first up here recently.
