Barrier Trial Dates & Entry Deadlines
Barrier trial nominations at Newcastle Racecourse close at 11:00am, two business days prior to the scheduled trial date. Trial results are typically published from 2:00pm on the same day.
Official results for barrier trials conducted at Newcastle Racecourse are made available through Racing NSW, providing trainers and industry participants with timely and accurate performance information.

Race Acceptances, Field Lists & Draws
Race acceptances for meetings at Newcastle Racecourse close at 9:00am, two business days prior to race day. Acceptances are published from 10:00am, following completion of the official barrier draw.
Rider engagements are typically confirmed and made available from 12:00pm on the same day.
All race acceptances, fields, barrier draws and rider information can be accessed and downloaded via Racing NSW website.
Gear Changes & Racing Equipment Updates
Abbreviated gear changes for upcoming race meetings at Newcastle Racecourse are typically published by 3:00pm on acceptance day. These gear changes are made available through the Racing NSW website and provide trainers and racing participants with up-to-date equipment information prior to race day
Official Race Results & Performance Records
Official race results for meetings held at Newcastle Racecourse are available for download via the Racing NSW website. Results are published following each race meeting and provide verified performance data for trainers, owners and industry participants.

Horse and Race Photographs
Official race day photographs of competing and winning horses at Newcastle Racecourse are available through Bradley Photographers. Images are captured on race day and provide high-quality photography for trainers, owners and industry use.
Owner and Syndicate Information
OWNERS TICKETING
To ensure the best possible Owners experience at Newcastle Racecourse, owners are encouraged to review the information below prior to attending race meetings. Owners racing at Newcastle Racecourse are eligible for specific ticketing benefits, depending on the race day.
SATURDAY AND FEATURE RACE DAYS – Owners Ticket Entitlements
Owners attending Saturday race meetings and Feature Race Days are entitled to the following:
• Two (2) complimentary Owners Tickets
• Option to purchase additional Members tickets online or at the gate for $55 per adult
• One (1) complimentary racebook per ownership
Owners also receive access to:
• Tie-Up Stalls
• Members Lounge and Members Enclosure
• Owners & Trainers Bar (Swish Bar)
Dress regulations apply within the Members Enclosure at all times.
Children under 18 years of age may enter the racecourse free of charge when accompanied by a responsible adult. To access the Members Enclosure, children must attend the Raceday Office with the owner to obtain the appropriate pass.
Pre-Registration – Saturday & Feature Race Days
Pre-registration is not required if you:
• Hold a current NJC Membership Card, or
• Have pre-booked tickets into an on-course venue
Your membership card or venue ticket will provide direct entry through the main gates.
Owners who pre-register via the NJC website will receive:
• Two (2) racecourse entry tickets via email, allowing entry for the owner and one guest
Upon arrival:
1. Scan entry tickets at the main gates
2. Proceed to the Owners Ticket Window to collect Owners Tickets
3. Access the Members Precinct
Valid photo identification (e.g. driver’s licence) is required when collecting Owners Tickets.
If Your Horse Is Scratched – Saturday & Feature Race Days
If your horse is scratched prior to or on race day, owners are still welcome to attend and will be offered a complimentary Members Day Pass.
Please note that standard Owners privileges do not apply in this instance.
Mid-Week Race Days & Wine Country Racing
For mid-week race meetings and Wine Country racing at Newcastle Racecourse, entry is free for all patrons and pre-registration is not required.
Owners may collect:
• One (1) Owners Ticket from the Administration Building prior to entering the racecourse
Owners Tickets are issued on the day only and are available exclusively from the Administration Office on mid-week race days.
If Your Horse Is Scratched – Mid-Week Race Days
If your horse is scratched prior to or on a mid-week race day, owners are still welcome to attend. No ticketing is required; however, standard Owners privileges do not apply.
