Newcastle Racecourse prides itself on providing an exceptional race day experience for everyone who visits the races. Please make yourself familiar with the Terms & Conditions of Entry for Newcastle Racecourse to ensure the best race day experience for yourself and others.

Depending on the race day, and which type of ticket or package you would like to purchase, you may need to pre-book. Please see our individual race days for pricing if you wish to attend – click here. Typically, you can save money on General Admission tickets by purchasing online, however if you would like to purchase your tickets on the day at the gate, the price may increase.

Depending on the venue and type of booking you wish to make, you may be able to book online. For some venues and booking types, you will need to contact our Events Team.

Newcastle Racecourse is situated in the heart of Newcastle, only 3 minutes' drive from the CBD with ample car parking spaces. For more information getting here, and parking click here.

Dress regulations and suggested attire can be found here. These differ for General Admission, Members and Chevals Restaurant.

Children 18 years and under are permitted to attend the racecourse when accompanied by a suitable parent or guardian.

Racebooks are included in many of our hospitality packages. Otherwise, they can be purchased from our Information Booth, the Newmarket Bar or the Members Lounge.

Yes, all of our midweek race meetings are free entry for all ages, with the exception of feature race days such as the Spring and Autumn Racing Carnivals.

As a general rule, picnic food is permitted, however, beverages are not permitted to be brought onto the racecourse.

Yes we offer a Student/Concession General Admission Price of $10* at the main gate. Be sure to bring a valid student ID! *Price may vary for Feature Race Days.
