Newcastle Racecourse launches an exclusive ‘Hunter Club’

An exciting new opportunity has been launched by Newcastle Racecourse that enables local businesses to form a prestigious partnership with them and become an exclusive member of ‘The Hunter Club.’

‘The Hunter Club’ is open to a select network of just twenty businesses each year and provides organisations who join with the opportunity to win the naming rights to a host of races held throughout the year.

“With more than forty race meetings held at Newcastle Racecourse each year, including twenty-one Saturdays, this makes Newcastle Jockey Club the most active provincial race club in New South Wales,” says Newcastle Racecourse CEO, Duane Dowell.

“Given the scope of opportunities these races provide for local businesses to be involved in the racecourse and the valuable impact these networks have on our local community, we have established ‘The Hunter Club’ in addition to our existing Race Day, Race Name and Charity Fundraising sponsorship options,”

“There are some incredible rewards on offer that businesses could find themselves receiving simply by becoming a member of ‘The Hunter Club’. Such as winning the naming rights to the Group 3, $250,000 Cameron Handicap or the Group 3 $250,000 Tibbie Stakes, to name just two incentives on offer,”

‘Hunter Club’ members will enjoy a host of benefits that far extend beyond their involvement in a race day. Such as VIP treatment with pre-release access to major events like the Spring Carnival and ‘The Hunter’ Race Day, brand visibility and exposure through pre-race day marketing and on course advertising and promotion to Newcastle Racecourse’s expansive existing members, community, and corporate network.

To become an exclusive member of ‘The Hunter Club’, there is an inaugural membership fee of $9,000 + GST, with inclusions in the package valued at well over $15,000.

“There is the chance some members will win up to $30,000 in sponsorship value, along with bonus prizes that will be drawn at an annual ‘Hunter Club’ Gala Dinner,” says Duane Dowell.

“Members will have quite favourable odds that they could secure the naming rights for a race during the Spring Carnival or to The Hunter Race Day.”
